As a school we look to improving ourselves through education and also look to helping others. Each class chooses a class charity or environmental project each year.

Early Years chose to support Alnwick Food Bank and had a collection of produce at our Harvest Festival.
Class 1 have chosen to support RNLI.
Class 2 have chosen to support UNICEF and made Christmas cards and ‘pop up snowmen’ to sell raising £122.
Class 3 have chosen to support The Alan Shearer Foundation and raised £131
The Rota Kids organised a Toy Stall. £177.27 was raised and we rounded this up to help support the charity the children had chosen which was Crisis which is a charity that helps the homeless. With our support at Christmas 7 people will have a warm bed and a meal at Christmas as well as accessing mental health support.
During the School Year 2025-26
The children, led by the Rota Kids took influence from the school's Climate Action Plan and have focussed on developing their school environment and also to raise awareness of the wider issues affecting our community such as the lack of pavements in the village.
