As a Church School we take inspiration from the Bible story of The Good Samaritan Luke 10 25-37 and we ask of ourselves and others to 'Go and Do the Same' in our daily lives. 'Hand in hand, we are kind, collaborative and courageous citizens of our community and the wider world'.

On behalf of the staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome you and your child to Whittingham C. of E. Primary School. We are committed to ensuring that every child’s time as part of our school family is happy, enriching and successful.

We strive to provide a high standard of education within a supportive, secure and stimulating environment, where all children are encouraged to learn, grow and achieve their full potential. Central to this is our belief in building strong, trusting and well-informed partnerships with families.

Our dedicated staff team is made up of experienced, caring teachers and teaching assistants who combine modern and traditional approaches to make learning engaging, challenging and enjoyable for all. Please enjoy using this website and we warmly encourage you to contact the school for further information or to arrange a visit and experience our wonderful school community for yourself.

Kind Regards,
Mrs Belinda Athey - Headteacher.
