Art
Lesson focus - Native American pattern
In our Geography lesson this week we learnt about Chistopher Columbus. We began to learn about the American people that he met when he arrived there. The people he met were the first people to live in America. Native American people used beautiful patterns in their clothes and art and today you are going to have a go at recreating some of these patterns.
I have attached a PDF below for you use to research the patterns or you can search in books or use the internet to find out more.
Once you have finished researching you can then make your own Native American pattern! You can use any resources that you have around your house including paint, pencils, collage or even found objects in the garden like pebbles and sticks! I can’t wait to see your creative designs.
