Wednesday 19th January 2022

Good afternoon everyone,

Please find attached Geography work for this afternoon. If you do the mind map about coast lines and then ask an adult to cut up the images and words an then you can match them. Stick them onto a separate piece of paper , take a photo and send over to me.

For English, we watched a live video feed from Seven Stories in Newcastle. Axel Scheffler, the illustrator of the Julia Donaldson books, made a miniature book live on screen and the children followed along. You can now access this at the Seven Stories website. Please have a watch and create your own little book. It was good fun.

Feel better soon.

School Closure ( Storm Arwen)  Week Beginning 29th November 2021

Monday - Good morning everyone, I hope this finds you all safe and well after the awful weekend.
I have set some Maths and English work over on Sumdog, looking at addition and subtraction and also some grammar work.
I do appreciate that a lot of families are still without power and will not be able to access this. If this is the case, please continue with the spellings and times tables I set last week and also their CGP work that Mrs Fletcher set.
Please do not forget our reading too - our 100 page challenge.
Stay safe and warm and I look forward to seeing the children back in school.
Keep up the great work Class 2. Mrs Fletcher and I are so proud of you all.

Tuesday - Good Morning All.....
As I said yesterday, I hope today finds you all safe and well and warm.
I have added some more English and Maths work on to Sumdog for the children to work through today.
I still appreciate that a lot of families are still without power and will not be able to access this.

Wednesday - I though it might be fun for Class 2 to make something related to our History topic. We have been looking at Hill forts and Celtic jewellery over the last few weeks, so if you have any junk model stuff lying around, could they try to make a hill fort or piece of jewellery? It would be great to see them in our class portfolio as, and when, you get internet access.

As always stay safe and warm and Mrs Fletcher and I look forward to seeing you all back in class.

We are hoping to return to class tomorrow Class Two! (Fingers and toes are crossed!)

Thursday - in school.

Friday -
Good morning everyone!

If you are able to today - please could you write your 'Environment' stories. I know you spent a lot of time planning with Mrs Chisholm yesterday. Remember your story can be about anything linked to the Environment and can be up to 500 words. If you are able to write it up on a Word document and email it to me that would be fantastic!

For Art this afternoon you could design your book covers to go with your story too.

Stay safe everyone! I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Mrs Fletcher x
