- English: writing the first 2 paragraphs of a persuasive argument + reading comprehension.
- Maths: multiplying decimals by 10, 100 & 1000.
- Spellings (different lists for Y5 & Y6).
- History: studying the reasons for the fall of the Maya civilisation.

- Maths: multiplication challenge (do this independently and show all your working out).
- Reading comprehension
- Science: identifying and understanding opposing forces and how we can manipulate these for effect + the egg drop challenge.

- English: write a balanced argument about 'Should mobile phones be allowed in school?'. Use your work from the previous sessions and the example text to guide and support you.
- Spellings test (different lists for Y5 & Y6).
- Maths: multiplication methods - I will show a few methods for how best to approach these questions. Play the video to see the demo and then you are able to pause at certain points in order to then complete sections of work before moving onto the next method.
