- Geography: Studying and researching the continent of South America. The children will watch and engage with the Oak National Academy lesson about the continent of South America. Running parallel to this and as an extension task afterwards (as the video input is only 24 mins long), the children will label their map of South America with the names of the countries that are within South America and then add further info to each country's label with such information as the population. I will super impressed if you could also label where certain physical geographical landmarks are such as mountain ranges - these are mentioned in the video and can be independently researched. https://teachers.thenational.academy/lessons/which-countries-are-in-south-america-what-physical-features-can-we-find-in-south-america-crw3gr
