Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is government money designed to help disadvantaged children and young people do well at school. The funding is allocated to schools for children from Reception to year 11 who have registered for free school meals in the last six years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure), are in care (children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months) or who have parents in the Armed Forces.
On our website we account for the spending for the previous year. If you would like further information please contact our Pupil Premium Lead Teacher - Belinda Athey

In addition to the spending outlined in our Pupil Premium Statements for the past 6 years we have used some of the PP money to fund the annual licensing and training fees for Accelerated Reader. This is a well researched tool for promoting and tracking pupil progress in reading. From 2022 we have also purchased NFER assessment tests to support our teacher assessments and clearly track progress. Once again, using well researched resources proven to having impact on pupil progress.
